Old news now, but appears to be true.

As for steering the good ship TVR,,

Surely its not ship if its beneath the waves!!!!!!

That would be sunk or a sub, may be a Russian sub in British waters, call the Spooks quick............

It's a shame to see all these false starts further damage the brand. If it was a horse someone would have had the decency to shoot it by now. Think I'm going to stop opening these threads and just enjoy the one I have.

I sometimes think NS having a background in the banking and financial world knew the credit meltdown was looming and shut TVR knowing full well people would not have the spare funds to purchase such cars.

I personally think, he aint as daft as we think he is (after all, he is a millionaire) and forecast over the next few years there was no money to be made in the weekend fun car market, and could foresee people would be saving their hard earned funds on just keeping their heads above water. Lets face it; he would have probably been on a hiding to nothing with the ways things are just now!

When times are better he may breath a spark into the old girl again, you can only hope.

Does this mean that Jason isn't going to reply to my call enquiring about purchasing a new TVR? I know I only called in May - I thought he was just too busy doing important stuff to get round to talking to a prospective customer. Clearly I was right...

Nah. If he had one smart cell in his body he would never have bought it for what he did and without doing the correct due dilligence.

As for being a millionaire I imagine the old adage that the quickest way to make a small fortune is to start with a large fortune and give some of it to your son to play with stands the test of time. wink

Credit where it's due - Jason has just emailed me and offered to put me in touch with a dealer, bearing in mind some members of the community have given him some stick recently, lets say good for him - he didn't have to do that.

And why is he calling now..? Bit late seeing as the family are out on their fat arses. The only credit they deserve is for helping TVR go under.

No love lost at all.
