Nope, it's a REAL ex-racer TVR Tuscan, with a large V8.

TVR don't need to imitate or replicate anything. smile

Absolutely amazing trackday car. Shame about that air scoop though, it looks naff and ruins the lines - a sexy curved one would suit it much better (IMO).

Can't imagine that I'll ever replace the V8S but if I ever do *that* is what will replace it. Richard drove it all the way to Zolder and back with his wife as navigator, totally dedicated nutter. bow

Mr Shelby himself said the TVR challenge car would be the next Cobra.

Remember that well, it's a really well done car and although the air scoop needs a subtlely make over the car is a real testament to his work. Let alone how damned fast it was !

The enginnering will be top drawer, but if I bought it I know I would end up spending a fortune trying to get at least some of the panel gaps half right...but that because I'm sad.

At 8 mpg as I recall. He de-tuned it afterwards, to enable 5th and 6th gears during 'normal' use.

PS, she was either his girlfriend or ex-wife, by the time they got back to Sheffield!

Need 4power in another thread said,

I am glad that there are so many idiots out there that don't appreciate TVR's, this means that these fantastic cars are driven and owned by real enthusiast not just people that have more money than sense and couldn't give two shades of a s t about them.

Oh the ironary(sp), my sides have just split open.

Hi i'm back to face the music!

Seems some my comments have rubbed people up the wrong way.

What i was eluding to was this car is more like a poor mans shelby cobra, blue peter style air intake, cobra stripes and non standard engine even the fuel filler the same as a cobra. What's with the purple wheels? But if you guys like that kind of scensorede then good luck to you.
