This the link to Al Melling's Wildcat webage here
Looks a lot less like a Griff when you see it and absolutely nothing like it under the body panels.

I really like it, a much more classical shape than todays toy car supercars.

Seen it, sat in it & taken it apart - as V8 GRf says, in the flesh it really does not look like a Griff or Chim.
Front air intake and silvered covered headlights are very 70's Ferrari and a bit E-Type.

That's individual choice - naff to one, maybe great to another etc.

Agreed, it's subjective - but it has what appears to be a bolted on air intake scoop, whilst the silver headlight covers just look unfinished IMO...

I think we should all appreciate that the likes of Melling are willing to make an offering. Good luck to him. Not my cup of tea due to no roof.

Does anyone else think that he got the script for 'Melling' from a well known breakfast cereal?

The air scoop and the area around it is fastened on by Zeus fastners so you can get at the ancilliaries like the dipstick without having to remove the whole front, a bit like the service hatch on a Sag or Tuscan. The silver area around the headlights are painted chrome and again are down to personal taste I guess

They seem to be on carburettors. I didn't know you could still build a new car on carbs in the UK these days?

He's already sold 3 or 4 I believe and a couple of those had different body styles to the choice of the buyer.
