Had a couple of great days out this weekend, after getting the car where I want it, for the moment , in both noise and performance terms. Here a couple of videos one I think shows what a Tiv with fully baffled standard exhaust can sound like www.sleepy-fish.com/images/videos/TVRs/V8S_on_Song.wmv
The other is a bit longer but shows why so many down here swear by teh Meon valley is such a great blat'ng route www.sleepy-fish.com/images/videos/TVRs/V8S_Meon_Valley.wmv enjoy, particulary if you've never passengered in tiv before , apologise if its a little shakey in places but he road surface isnt th smoothest .

You want to get that eye rolling sorted out, a good opthalmic optician should be able to help

Good Vids though, really like the Meon roads, even better with a V8 soundtrack

The sound is OK but what with using a camcorder then converting to a wmw file on the PC it does lose quiet a bit of the sound quality but its OK .
As I've said before no need to remove baffles to get a good sound, just needs to be 'on song', engine and exhaust as one .
It's not as loud as one of these baffle removal job ones but such a much better note, more bass IMHO, not quiet so max power

Well if you're on a 56K I'd click on the long one and go to bed and watch it in the morning if I was you

the long one keeps stopping at 76% for me. Seems to be a 'feature' of that particular webhost as my site seems to do the same thing an annoying amount.

OK then, I know lots down loaded the big movie, but not many comments recieived . Should No2 son perservere with the camcorder or hang it up, or should I buy a suction pad or bracket to remove the 'home made' shaky cam effect .
Comments good and bad now being taken

Since the last post I have only downloaded 32% so far - This could be the reason why not many people have viewed it
Is the download failing....or is it because its large in size (oo-er)?

I have broadband yeah. 87% now!

I gaurantee I'll know every single corner and bump!!!

If you allowed media player to do the download after about 30secs of bufering you could have watched it in delayed real time, if you see whjat I mean

If you're on BB you should be able to get about 200Mb per hour.
There's bags of bandwidth on my site, but at present there are over 50 people downloading a combo of Harry's work, and the 5th Gear stuff...which may slow it down....but shouldn't.
LB

Just checked...got a download time of 9 mins (I'm on bb like you), or clicked the link, which buffered for 15 seconds, then streamed no problem. Hmmmm, don't know what else to suggest.

How very odd?? Getting sound but no video

Just deleted temp files/cleared cache then clicked on link and after 15 secs started playing for me, watched the first 30 secs at 384K/bits sec .
If you have BB just click on the link and watch it in real time on media player, if you want to save it then just save the media player file at the end, always works for me.
