While working on a customers car in the work shop at my folks, my dad comes down to say they are off out, say see ya and all that. I hear him start his crysler voyager and start backing up then crunch, the sound of splintering TVR. He could not see the car out the back because its so low and he's high up, put the tow bar through the door. Could be worse could have been the front wing or rear quarter i suppose. Anyway im now after a replacement door, preferably in moonraker black. Or a good fibre glass repairer local to Lincoln.

Oh then the customers car split the fuel line, went up in a fire ball, managed to get it out fairly quickly but still burnt out a section of wiring/connectors and destroyed the front bumper, splitter, under shields and a few other bits.

there's a certain irony with this being in the 'spotted' forum!

How the hell did i put this in the spotted forum!!! Could one of the Mods please move it.

Its the passenger door i need, will try and get it to some repairers to see what they say about repairing this door too. Sadly it will have to wait untill the customers car is sorted. What a day.

Really sorry to hear - very bad luck.

Little distance from you, but Plasticman may be able to help? Best email him through his profile... Good luck.

Must say that pic really does illustrate just how wonky the seats are set in our cars! Trouble is without the lean they wouldn't clear the rollcage. TVR bodging at its best smile

NEVER leave in gear either...that's how to run into a wall, or out through the garage door. (Learned my lesson pushing a pub fence over years ago.....oops, forgot it was in gear redface ). smile

Bad luck BGB, I did much the same thing to my lads new Astra so I know how you both feel. I see Dave has replied, I was going to suggest the same spray shop in Skelly next to Bridge Motors or Carizma at Melton Mowbray.
