Hey guys.

I am looking for a new experience. Right now i am in need of three brochures, which are currently unavailable.

1. Griffith Buyers Guide
http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/WEBSITE/WWW/WEBPAG...

2. Cerbera Buyers Guide
http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/WEBSITE/WWW/WEBPAG...

3. TVR Tuscan Buyers Guide
http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/WEBSITE/WWW/WEBPAG...

Since i live in continental europe it would make much sense to go for a Griffith, which i adore for quite some years now. The Rover V8 should be as easy to maintain as any other classic, especially since i have someone over here with quite some experience on that engine.

Performance aspects give me sleepless nights with the Tuscan SpeedSix, which i currently would rate as too difficult to maintain over here, although the look is absolutely stunning and unique. (Read the test in the EVO with the first S on the Autobahn...) Something tells me to keep my fingers to myself, this might get too expensive here.

Then there is the Cerbera, going for the V8 in whatever configuration is the other sleepless night. Internally this one ticks all the right boxes, i even contacted two guys from the classifieds already...

Any advice? Does anyone care to have the mentioned buyer´s guides for sale or knows where to get them?

Thanks a lot in advance,
Björn.

On the Griffith front try this link

http://www.thegriffithpages.com/buyers-guide.html

The site in general has lots of useful info. For books the best thing out there for potential buyers and also to help with mainting it when you do buy one is the Steve Heath book

https://delta.securesslhost.net/~shenglt/catalog/p...

Much of the information about body, chassis and suspension in terms of to buying, is applicable across all the TVR models as they use the same basic construction methods and design philosphy.

Also worth reading through the model specific forums on Pistonheads to get an idea about the ownership experience.

Good luck.

Colin

Many thanks, Colin.

Even that book seems to be sold out. I saw that one on Amazon, unavailable, and it is not listed on the Regalia site of the TVRCC any more.

Of course i did go through the different forums. But that didn´t help to decide...although that should push the Tuscan out of sight for me.

So i am left with the Cerbera and Tuscan...

Bjorn,
is it the Griffith book by Steve Heath you seek? If so it is available here.

Hmmm so I see. Might be worth phone the TVRCC and asking or contact Steve Heath directly through his web site he will probably tell you how to get one. He's also posts on this site as shpub

They come up on ebay every now and then here's one or ph classifieds every now and then.

The books are not sold out! They are still available! The club website returns an error but that doesn't mean that the book is not available - just that there is some kind of fault. Amazon say the book is out of stock simply because they can't be bothered to stock it. They also wanted such huge discounts that I would have been shipping fivers with each book that was sold - so we turned down their offer.

The book is available - if you are having problems then call the club on 01952822126.

PS They will be getting another shipment next week.

Steve, thanks for the info.

I will try to contact the club by phone.

Bste regards,
Björn.
