My other half managed to "accidentally" take my Chimaera keys to the dump with a load of other rubbish. A set of keys to my KTM have also gone the same way but that’s easier to sort thankfully.

I have managed to find replacements for the alarm fob and the immobiliser stick but haven’t been able to source a place to get hold of a blank Opel key as per the original.

Best I have so far is a replacement ignition barrel and two new keys form one of the spares places but this will cost about £60 and I will have to cock about fitting it. Unfortunately, this will not leave me enough money for the grass seed required to hide the shallow grave that is now in my garden.

Anyone now where to get a blank Opel key from?

Give Martin at Racing Green a call. He sorted me out with replacements.

Most high street key cutters will have a blank Opel key, I had one cut for my Griffith last week for the new owner.

Cheers all,

To be fair, it may be partly my fault. pair of jeans left in the garage after getting covered in POR 15 paint after sorting my chassis. Said jeans assumed to be with rubbish so off they went to the tip smile

I didn’t really kill her, Im even considering letting her sleep in the house tonight, with the snow and all that smile

This is just a small issue. The most spectacular incident was was when she parked the TVR in the garage. The twist here is that this was acheived without opening the garage door and with her not being present. At first, I too thought that she was pulling some David Bliane style trickery on me but alas no.

Sloping drive, rubbish handbrake, new garage door.

Amazingly the car escaped with a mere blemish!

A Tuscan blank gives you the Vauxhall key with the Meta enclosure built-in. At least one of the dealers had some but I can't remember which one. Or try TorqueRVT, they had some a year or so ago.

Hi I've got the same problem with my T350t!! Any ideas part numbers for the keys / ignition barrel / removing of the ignition barrel? Also do I need a new alarm unit. I've removed the 'meta' is there something else I need to change? Please PM me if you don't think this is appropriate for a public forum!
