Ex F1 Race mechanic, Neil Garner - Mr.TVR!
Discussion
Went to Neil Garner's workshops yesterday - http://www.neilgarner.co.uk - in conjunction with Gloucestershire and Wiltshire TVR clubs. What a 'top bloke!' Ex formula 1 race mechanic who gave up his evening to talk about enhancing your beloved V8. No bull s
t, no sales pitch, just good old fashion sound advice on how to take care of your British marque. The evening was well supported by 30 enthusiastic TVR owners and friends listening to tips on springs, shockers, AFM's, exhausts and throttle pots to name a few subjects during the hour long talk. Apart from the trio of 'porkers' parked in the corner, there was a good selection of Griffs, Chims and a Tam to gaze over while being kept in for repair, service and maintenance. If you have never been to these workshops between Kemble and Crudwell on the Wilts and Glos borders, worth a look. One of those places 'you could eat off the floor' in the full knowledge that your beloved motor is well professionally taken care of. Well done that man and not forgetting his team of mechanics as well. Top class! Congrats too, to the organisers of the event, Ralph in particular.

Shhhhh!!! The secret is out! Sure was! Work carried out yesterday and today timed for the evening show! Sorry we didn't get to chat, so many faces. Think both clubs ought to meet AGAIN at either at Kemble (The Tavern or the Thames Head) or The Potting Shed in Crudwell. Thanks for the comments, it'll look better when it has a red hood to match - when funds will allow.
