On the wing mirrors you have the sunken grooves, are these meant to have rubber in them ? and if so where do you get it ?

Yes they are, I'd imagine originals are like hens teeth now but try contacting www.pxwheels.com in Blackpool. He used to list mirror parts and speaking to him recently he said he could still get some bits.

Hi Marc

A chap asked me about these at the Classic Car Show last year. I suggested he could buy an O Ring splicing kit with the correct diameter rubber and make his own to the required length. Hope this may help you.

They come from a Citroen CX if I remember correctly and they used to have the rubber rings.
