After many recent changes in circumstance, I am considering laying up the Griff for this year in the near future. Mainly through lack of use. I don't really want to sell as it is a good car and the money I would get for it isn't really anywhere near what it is worth for me. Plus I seem to have been offered some very silly prices for it.

What sort of things should I consider? Putting it up on stand?

Changing the fluids?

etc.

Cheers

Chris

Make sure it isn't left in a damp garage.
Put on axle stands to prevent flatting/distorting the tyres.
Add a fuel stabiliser to the fuel, or drain the tank.
Maybe add an indoor cover to prevent dust & other contaminates falling on the paintwork.
Adding a squirt of oil down the bores prevents seizure, but i don't think this would need doing after only a year.
Spray some WD-40 or similar into lock mechanisms, etc...

I'm sure there are other things you can do? Someone else on here will know.

Don't forget to leave a way to get in the car with a flat battery.
