Has anyone just sat in a garage and staring at their TVR with a silly grin?
Has anyone done a 40/50 odd miles round trip just for a pint of milk with their TVR?
Has anyone spent at least half a day just to clean their TVR (with a at least 30 minutes driving afterwards to dry the car)?
Has anyone went for a quick sprint ended up 100 miles away from home?!?!

I am not ashamed to admit I am one!

All of the above. Except I'm not much of a tea drinker, so the milk is usually heading out to fill the car up, but the principal still applies.

In fact, I have a very long journey tomorrow, better take it out tonight and fill up. smile

All of the above smile and...

Popped out to top it up with fuel, returned home some considerable time later and...Oh, the tank is empty! (and I'd filled it up to)

ha ha. Fantastic!! at least I know I am not alone. Oh yeah forgot about a trip to fill up the petrol tank too. Oh one more...I also often feel and admire the curvatures of the body too - specially the rear and the bonnet. Speaking of which, does anybody here actually know the actual designer(s) who design the body of these beautiful cars such as Tuscan, Sags, Cerbs, Chims, T350's, Tamoras....the list go on. where are they working now?

Yep, just checked, newbie! LOL. Good on ya matey, I did exactly the same thread about one month after I bought my Chim nearly two years ago. I am so glad that the PH massive are still grinning inanely. Tivs do that to you. Enjoy the trips. Maybe we'll meet up some time. I live in sarf London and could end up anywhere in the country, especially where the milk is cheaper!

It's ok! TVR's arn't meant for short journeys. Therefore you have to do at least 30 miles every journey wink

Every day when I return from work I visit the underground parking where my Chimmie sits, first hehe.

She's cloud9 - and mine.

I don’t have a garage my car lives on the drive. I often go to the window and check to see if its still there! And just smile to myself that I own a piece of automotive genius. My girlfriend Lisa takes the pi**… she will never understand!

I remove the wheels too to clean/polish the backs, not allowed them in the house though despite it being MY house. Last time I washed my polishing cloths in the washing machine I came home to find them in the bin!!

yes Most certainly have, the most recent being last Monday. Popped out early Monday am to get fuel, ended up doing a near 250 mile round trip over the Brecon Beacons, then on to West Wales and back hehe

The sun was out, the roof off and it would have been rude not to !!
