It's been a loooooong Year without a Sag, and I NEEEEEED another.

Thinking of buying Mr Blue but it has no service history - having been owned by TVR until last August. Had a quick walk around today and it looks and sounds in very good shape but I'd love to hear from any of you that knows how it's been treated these past 4 years. There is certainly a little bit of evidence of paintwork on the rear nearside wing was all I noticed, oh, and a horrible metal bracket just below the centre of the windscreen obviously retro fitted to stop the wiper fouling the bonnet edge.

Any help would be very gratefully received smile

You asked this question yesterday. Use the search engine and there is a lot here on Mr Blue (including the old owner).

Not quite the same question, I'm serious now and looking for help from anyone who knows the car. I did use the search engine but I'm afraid I found very little indeed - some references to it from Rayvonn was about all I got. The fact that the car has also been in the hands of Tony Gilbert confused me even more given that TVR apparrently owned it from new through to last August.

Phil James (bosscerbera) may know a little more on its history as may Gaffer. Both of whom were quite heavily involved with the original press cars. Might be worth a PM to them.

Amazing that I couldn't find this through the PH search. I tried several options for Mr Blue (mr+blue, "mr blue" etc) but didn;t come across this one.

Many thanks for your help Don1 this is a great read smile

Fine at the correct money or with a proper engine warranty

Going for both I think. I nu-nu-need a Sag. You still got ballistic orange? I so enjoyed synchronised drifting with it at Diamond Rock - pity there were no pictures.

Is this thread recent or am I being stupid> Where is Mr Blue for sale? Mr Orange is my mates car and I know they would like to know where it is.

Was this the demo car that was at David Geralds? Was it a bright blue, can't recall the reg but I do think it was this one. Was taken out by John in it at an open day.

Hopefully not the same car as Mr Blue is currently showing just over 23K miles. DG's had 28K on the clock.

I know the car from the factory. Probably not much help but the ECU and a few other bits ended up on the production line cars and since been replaced. Also, some one shot it with a 9mm whilst it was in Birmingham. I have a photo somewhere where the evidence tag is on it. It was in the scuttle panel and ended up behind the dials. Otherwise, i loved this car. I prefered it to PN05 OUL even. If i had the chance, and the money, I'd go for it.

Yep wrote that sightly wrong!

Here is a link to a pic of Mr Orange and my Sag next to each other last year parked at the back of our work. Mr Orange is at racing green at the moment after having a load of work done so we know where it is.
