Do i look like a prat... opinions please

My flat mate is also a fan of tvrs and loves to drive my chimera. I drove past him the other day with the roof down and stereo turned up loud with my favourite Oakley sun glassses on. When i saw him later he said that i looked like a prize prune and would look more suited to a Porsche Boxter. He isn't the first person to say that either. Where do you draw the line of whats cool and whats cliche when driving a soft top car?? I fear i may be over stepping the line...
Edit: Not going to delete it as I promised I wouldn't, but I didn't write this! It was my housemate getting me back for 'tampering' with his Facebook while he was out... He seems to have got me quite well judging by the replies! Since when did Oakley's become uncool anyhow?! I'm young, I can get away with it!

I worry about this on a regular basis, and have even purposefully not worn sunglasses with the top down even on very bright days, and spent the journey squinting. This makes no sense as I am concious of looking a t
t and yet I drive round in a car painted in Purple Paradise - I'm full of contradictions clearly. However, the shades I have in that car as aviators, which along with oakleys are toeing the taste line. Sunglass wearing whilst at the wheel is to my mind the preserve of reps, and they don't add to the cool.

Oh god! I leave my Pistonheads account signed in for 10 minutes! Ok don't rise to it! Its my housemate getting back at me for sabbotaging his Facebook account while he was out...I think it may be a bad case of jealousy
For the record, there is no line... Even with aviators, a leather jacket and the Top Gun sound track blaring on the way to the supermarket! Right I'm off out... Appologies for the disturbance!

Graham - You forgot to mention that you can't hear a stereo turned up loud in a wedge...pardon?

In any convertable TVR- roof off.......check.....shades on....check......stereo off....check.
A V8 is music in itself

Porche drivers need the stereo on to play their engine noise compilation CDs!!
