I recently went into the local branch of Halfrauds to buy a replacement gear knob for the TVR. I couldn't see what I wanted so I asked a youf who worked there for directions. As we approached the display of gleaming chrome and Stainless/Alloy I appologised and said actually I wanted leather. He rocked back and looked at me with his head tilted and nodding saying "ahhh, Old Skool". What the kineck does that mean?

No idea what he means in terms of gear knobs but 'old skool' to me would be retro classics ummm Mk1 & 2 Golf GTi's for example something at isn't classic like an E-type or M but is older than your normal car. I would say the Wedge and S kinda fall into the catagory but their limited numbers make them classic.

'Old school' (according to my scornful 15 year-old) means sad relic of the past.... rather like my goodself...and my motor. hehe
