Who built my SP6 engine ?

Following on from an interesting thread (3.6 or 4.0) on the Tuscan forum, the water pump housing on my engine has the initials M&B on it which I believe indicates who built it. Can anyone shed some light on who M&B might be ? I'm asking out of curiosity only - the engine (touch wood) is still a stonker !.

Given I sat and had dinner next to someone who had to send his S6 back 9 times I think you can understand peoples sceptism, even if you don't like the gags.

But I won't clog your thread any further although to my knowledge TVR never identified engine builders although you will find many cars signed by the assembly fitters as indeed mine is.

If I see Paul Giddings, I'll try and find out for you...alternatively try ringing Jason Clegg at STR8SIX...he was an engine builder working in Bristol Av.. Of course a RV8 wouldn't have initials they weren't built by TVR and assembled/mod'ed by Power.

Many thanks Keith. I've contacted Jason already and he wasn't able to shed any light on the engine so any info you might be able to get from paul would be greatly appreciated.

We think MB maybe Mark otherwise known as Chewey..but Paul Forrest can't remember his surname....Someone else from the factory may know and respond.

If you've spoken to Paul Forrest, my T350 is known to him as it's Kevin Moore's old car. I spoke to Paul at Fighting Torque in 2007 but at the time didn't ask for any info on the car / engine. Pass on my regards when you speak to him next.
