Cheers Dirty boy, Mark, The hood & Obiwonkeyblokey. Total now £5323.46. Only £676.36 to make target. The three quarter care bed we wanted to purchase is between £5000 & £8000. The hospice has ordered it which is our dream achievement. We couldnt sleep in each others arms during Sues last days but because of your generosity others will be able to. A fitting legacy for an amazing lady. Heartfelt thanks to all.

Sincerely

You're welcome Steve, every little helps.
Well done so far, a fantasic amount of money raised.
As you said in another thread the tributes to Sue in Sprint are really lovely.
You can tell that she has a very special place in the hearts of those who knew her and now in the hearts of many who didn't.

Soooo close to target....
C'Mon folks...nearly there!

V8 GRF.......It does my friend. Very. Im sure Sue is looking down and applauding all the efforts. She had such an amazing love of life and had no regrets from all she had done. If i lived two life times i wouldnt even get close to fitting in what she did in her all too short years. The only one time during her time in hospital and then the hospice that she broke down was on her first night when we knew it was nearing the end. She just couldnt bear the thought of leaving me. Her words. So very very sad.

Our aim however was to allow others to share together the most precious time they will ever have. The care bed big enough for two to share has been ordered and will be there for them in the future. A fitting gesture from an amazing lady............My work at Manorlands will continue for years to come as I feel my loss has inspired me to help others. I am a bigger and better man for knowing Sue and She is and will remain with me always. To her I am eternaly gratefull for her love and support. I can truly say we met in each other our soul mate. As my best man said to me just the other week. " What you had together was amazing and there for all to see. Your love was the real deal."....... I miss her terribly.

Sincerely

Steve.
