Hmmm, seems the entire point is to race each other whilst in persuit of the 'rabbit'.

First bit of the terms and conditions states that recing is strictly forbidden.

Other tours focus on lunatic antics and dangerous nighttime driving.

And trying to overtake an SUV with huge ears glued to its side is sane?

But the winner wins £4000 (free entry the following year), and they publicly announce the fastest and the slowest cars each evening... no incentive to push on a bit then

Similar but more relaxed. We're just working on a week of motoring through spectacular scenery and great roads in the Alps. No incentives to speed or race.

Approximately September 2004. Am awaiting final details. Target price is £2K per car, staying in very good hotels.

Count me in!

I promised myself that I would do one of these next year, but can't quite afford the Gumball, and there are so many others...

How about a Two Tier Tour, same route different accommodation. Mind you, we have managed to squeeze 6 people into a double room before (in a non sexual context).

James speaking;

Ted sounds good, I've done most of the routes in Europe excluding France, so if you want any thoughts give me a bell.

£2000 seems fine for good accomodation and hotels. Thats not far off what we spent....
