Still laughting
Discussion
I got my Chimaera back 3 weeks, little engine work, chassis and full tidy up, a basis job, 400 to 450, M Adams chip etc. Basis a full refub.
Anyway on the 3rd day of having her back, i drove home from work and met the wife at the daughters school. I was followed to the school by a nice WRX Scooby, he sat behind me just listening to the sound of nice V8.
Cutting to the laugh then, he pulls up, gets out and has a good look at the Chimaera and then asks and I kid you not
"Were you get the exhaust, I got to get my Scooby to sound like that!"
I quickly replied "Mate you need to add 4 more cyclinders first, thats the standard exhaust"

The wife started to laugh first, quickly followed by me and a few other friends waiting with us at the school.
It still cracks us up.

I've had a few non TVR drivers following me who've said on arriving at our destination "You really ought to get a good Krypton Tune on your car, it's backfiring like crazy!" It's the look of disbelief in their eyes when I explain the reason for this is the design of the engine, as all Cerberas pop and bang on overun. Still makes me smile
