Which battery

Hi all
The battery in my (95) chim is a cheap lead/acid job,
although it's fairly new i'd like to replace it with
something better.
Any thoughts?

I have used several Optima red top gel batteries in several cars over 14 years in non every day use cars because the standard batteries kept dying.
I have one in in my 95 Chimaera and again have never loked back, they recover well from dead flat and from memory my one has 850 cold cranking amperes which is also handy ensuring it always starts no matter how cold it is.

I Second that, cost a few quid, but got seriously fed up of jump starts,
Got an Optima a couple of months ago on a recommendation and am well pleased.
