Can only re-itterate the above. Shane is a very helpful, friendly guy who knows his stuff, but doesn't charge the earth.

Just had my 30000 mile service done (set price) and brakes checked, rear pads changed & handbrake tension corrected. Absolutely superb service, and price, couldn't be happier.

Had a service and odds and ends sorted by Shane.
Good price and service. Knows his TVRs.
I'll be staying with SFR for the future.

aha you are why he can't come to my house to fix sick Griff until next Tuesday.

Met him Tuesday night and he is very nice (ladies note!),

Mind you he tried to flog me new brakes while I was there.
All I want is to be able to start the bloody thing.
May be drive it a little?

do you know how to find his garage? - it is a bit hidden (if you need directions let me know).

Will have to drag him along to the next Manchester run. See how crazy we all are.

Shane is very good. He has been looking after mine for a year .... reasonable prices, good service and excellent knowledge being an ex-Tuscan Challenge engineer

I've used Shane for my Chimaera servicing and he was fine (even picked up my car) and I will use him in the future. (He did bugger up the windscreen wipers though, but then I geuss you don't work on those too much on the racers! )

Just been onto shane's website .. isn't that cerbera the one that used to be B19 GRR?? looks supiciouslly familiar. If it is it's nice to see a car I modified (SP12 front end upgrade / suspension) being used on shane's site

Ai Caramba!!!

Does indeed look like my old beasty!! Perhaps I should give Shane a bell and make sure that it's still in one piece, I've not seen it around at all since that fateful day in January

Cheers,

Unfortunately, Shane is internetless at the moment so is unable to contribute. He is, however, attempting to remedy this situation as soon as possible.

Shane has asked me to convey his thanks for all the kind comments about him and his business. He also advises that a number of the photographs used on his site are for advertising purposes only, and are in no way connected to him or his business.

He appologises for any confusion caused and will have the matter remedied as soon as possible........

Tell him he can use a pic of mine on his site anytime he wants .. if he wants a pic of a 6 year old Griff that is

Oh, and can someone tell me what's involved in stiffening up a set of AVOs - I know I asked Shane to set them at their softest setting but in hindsight maybe not the wisest move - it bounces around all over the place and positively tries to commit 'harrycarry' if I hit a dip at speed (of which there are just a few on my local Pennine roads!).

Can they be manually adjusted or is it an up in the air, wheels off and get "the special tool"... or am I best just waiting until I take it in for it's service in a month or so?
