The official count of all TVRs is 676, the number of tickets did show higher, this was due to me having a memory like a goldfish, I was called back to the car for a problem and put a few tickets down I had in my hand when I was trying to get the queue of TVRs down, I forgot to pick them up and found them as I was leaving at the end of the day, I think this the only mistake and I hope I will be forgiven.
I have been to a meeting at Chatsworth today and they had no problems with anything, even the Duke and Duchess came down to have a look (they might have wondered what all the noise was) anyway thank you all for being so good and for turning up, I think we will be ok for having Chatsworth again next year if I decide to do it again.
A truely amazing weekend, thank you.

Kevin
Thanks to yourself and your organising team for a great day.

The turnout was spectacular, and combined with the glorious weather this made for a superb weekend.
Next year hopefully the N.I contingent will be a lot stonger, but from myself and Ronan ,thanks again.

Brilliant. Thanks to all the organisers, particularly Kevin.

Kev, would just like to echo these thoughts made by Davy (whose beautiful Sag I was admiring yesterday as he jumped in to drive off!)

I drove 300 miles round trip from down south with a small convoy. This was my first Chatswoorth and without doubt it was the best organised and attended event I have visited in over 2 years of happy ownership! (I missed Diamond Rock).

Looking around in the sunshine yesterday and seeing the tremendous enthusiasm, passion and incredible range of beautiful cars (and colours!!) it's hard to believe that anyone could have made such a mess of the TVR business to cause it's demise.

Sensational job mate and if ever there was a well deserved winner of the recent RO award, you are it!! thumbup Nick.

Fantastic day Keven, as FFG has said the day goes so quickly, although we would have been there about an hour earlier someone hadn't taken us through Sheffield city centre...

Fabulous turnout and like you said to me on Sunday a difficult one to beat, maybe it needs to be held in conjuction with another big event the day before? (Organised by someone else so as not to burn you out entirely smile)

Is that all?

I feel shortchanged by 12. I'm not coming next year. Barely worth getting out of bed for a mere 676.

It was a great event in 2006 with 67 cars,2007 with 160 cars,2008 with 400 and 2009 with 676.... So where are you going to park 1000 next year ? ... and Kevin, for you to consider not running it next year is ridiculous...thumbup

PS Did miss not having our own Tuscan Vert area this year... we had 7 I think this year!!!!

PPS If the Duchess want's a spin in a TVR next year , I'll take her out. biggrin

That's one more pasty for someone else then, and it will be a quieter day.

By the way, haven't seen any pictures of it. Can't believe none were taken.

They can change the London Marathon, I will have to have a word with Boris.
