Roof Velcro

Hi,

The velcro on the side of my hood has come off and needs to be glued back. I have tried to do it before but without very good results. Is it best to buy new self adhesive velcro or restick with glue? If so what is the best glue to use and any tips on best methods would be appreciated..

Mine needs redoing too..... Had a new roof fitted about year and half ago, velcro all ready off the body. New glue appears tobe nowhere near as strong as the old stuff

I've noticed a few cars with the front end riveted ...... this makes sense IMHO.....

as for glue I await to see what is posted

I have used Superglue and it seems to work OK but will inevitably fail I suspect but is easy enough to do and you don't have to clamp it down while it sets, just hold it together for a few seconds.
