TVR...Bling..??
Discussion
I attended my Golf Club Dinner Dance on Saturday...
When Jackets were excused I noticed a couple of gents sporting CUFFLINKS with their car manufacturers on them - Alfa / Audi....
What I thought would be nice is to have some with the TVR logo...So that I could subtley show what distinguished gentlemen we are amongst lesser type owners...
I have trawled through a google search to no avail...
Has anybody seen such TVR Bling...???
Any ideas where to get some..??

Gauche, n. [F.] 1. Left handed; hence, awkward; clumsy.
There is something sinister about all this anti left-handed prejudice.

I'm wearing mine as we speak, in Sterling Silver.
Pretty sure Mrs N17 TVR got them for me via the main TVR website or the TVRCC
Whilst I agree that the TVR ones are a bit unsubtle, the ones from Leven are VERY nice and very subtle
silver with a deep blue oval and Griffith (or whatever model... except S apparently) in silver script on the blue background.
I wouldn't wear the TVR ones but I wore the Leven ones the other day with a blue pinstripe and they looked very smart and unassuming - one of the girls at the meeting later said, "have you got a TVR by any chance?" then told me she'd seen her friend in a purple Griff only that morning!

Indeed. Whatever. They're not cool. To most people they don't say: 'I've got one parked outside', they say: 'I'd love a real one but all I can afford is these cufflinks'.
I wore a pair at my wedding and wore them again at BTaP '03. Don't recall anyone having a problem with them.
I don't think TVR cufflinks are in the same league as people who casually throw down their Ferrari-keyfobbed keys on the bar at a pub. Personally I think they're discrete enough that only an enthusiast for the marque would wear them. And at the end of the day, what does it matter if they are a future owner, a current owner or a former owner?

Well at the end of the day its personal taste, and what makes you happy. Still wouldn't touch them with a bargepole though...
Did once see in a little shop in Fulham little silver cufflinks meant (I think) to be Jag E-types but had ended up looking more like little silver Griffs. Might have to see if I can hunt those down actually...
