a whole TVR RE-SPRAY

Hi guys...

has anyone on here had a complete re-spray of their TVR in a completely different colour. Im thinking of a 2nd TVR but am not impressed with some of the colours out there...or if there is the colour I want, the price is EXCESSIVELY high in comparison to all the others by a great margin.

the main colour I am interested in is cascade indigo or cascade violet on a Sagaris

Well the reason it's expensive is you've probably picked two of the most expensive colours to spray to start with and then adding the fact it's a colour change which means EVERYTHING needs to come off to do the job right no wonder you're looking at a very expensive job.

no no...I know the paint is expensive etc...I have my Tuscan 2 in that colour...I mean as in the classifieds, a cascade indigo is for sale at a much higher price than the others

I think there's only two or three painted that colour so the owners must think it adds value?

But £62,500 does seem a tad expensive, partly due to the euro/£ exchange rate at the moment I guess.

Beautiful and rare colour though and a chance to purchase one of the last Sags.

SPAutomotive in Chester have just resprayed my car, Ryan charges £2400 for a change of colour respray in a non flip colour, not sure what a cascade would be but try him.

Hi there

I just had my Chim resprayed in Spectraflair anthrazite by Surface&Design in Blackpool and am very happy with the result. Cost was around the 2500 pound mark and they are Ex-TVR-Works sprayers so can do all the original colours or anything else you like.

How many colours in yours. As from that angle yours looks very similar to mine. Mine is classed as Aquamarine chromoflare....

In mine. There are two greens. Two blues.One purple. One gold.

costs of resprays look cheaper then I thaught..... are these paid prices or ones qouted ie excl the dreaded vat.

Ok found the invoice. It was 2500.- for full colourchange respray + 182.- spectraflair-pigment + VAT.
Still around 30% cheaper than the trustfull outfits here in Germany, so well worth the 2k-mile roundtrip.
And i did get to see the old factory and Peter Wheelers M-racer!
