I'm looking to buy a second hand Tuscan at Christmas and quite fancy a purple one.

The purples I have seen so far include:

Purple Illusion

Rolex Blue

TVR Purple (Is that the correct name?)

Paradise Purple

Cascade Purple

Pantone Violet

Reflex Purple

If anyone could point me in the direction of some decent size/quality pics of Tuscans in these colours to help me choose I would be eternally grateful. At the moment I am leaning towards Purple Illusion...

Cheers.

roadie.

PS: I also think Tuscans look particularly awesome in Crystal Topaz and Black. However, let's face it, they look great in any colour!

I had a purple illusion colured tusc before and it was the most stunning colour, i now have a crystal topaz one (light colours seem to show the shape of the car off better) at the end of the day its all down to personal taste. but try to see them in the flesh(so to speak) as opposed to photos , as photos can be quite deceptive. good luck

Thanks for the pic!

Is the purple illusion some kind of reflex/flip paint as it looks silver there? I saw a Purple Illusion (I think) Tuscan in Wilmslow and it seem to vary between light purple and silver.

I emailed you earlier today actually as I thought you still had the Puple Illusion Tuscan and I'd noticed you had the same colour preferences as me!

So you've decided to go for one then

Personally, I love the Tuscans in black...they look big, butch and mean in that "colour"!!!

Not that I give a st. I like it and I don't give a fk what anyone else thinks .

Theres also Ellis Violet.

In fact TVR will paint your car any colour you want and will match anything.

Paradise Purple is TVR Purple, pretty much the same tone but metallic...

Not that the purple hasn't been enhanced in this pic! Take a look at the estate agent's boards and the barge on the other side of the Thames - didn't realise Purple Paradise was a popular colour with narrow boat types - Rich...

Hi Roz!

Yep, I'm almost certainly going for it - there is a perfect car for sale at the moment (I'm not going to say where in case someone buys it! ) but I don't know if I will be able to get the cash together in time.

However, now I know what I want I'm keeping my eyes open and if this one goes I'm sure I'll find another.... I hope!
(Of course, I'm concerned now that perhaps its pulling-power will be diminished by not being black )
