Car builder solutions or EuropaSpares.com do the sheet but not self adhesive. Demon Tweeks probably have it as well.

Hi guys im in the middle of a full body off resto on my chim. I removed the 3no heat sheilds[1 on each wing 1 on the bulkhead] I work in the industrial insulation industry and we have a workshop that makes removable insulated mats for steam valves etc.and they just happen to use foil faced glass cloth. Anyway im getting some new ones made, all sewn up properly and i thought about asking what would the cost be to make these to order commercially. Do you think there would be enough interest? I was thinking of sending your old ones in as a pattern[im sure there are some differences between the various tvr models]and exact new copys made. What do you all think? Worth me asking about costs etc?

It would certainly be appreciated if you could make up some sized and trimmed heatsheilds.

I'd guess you'd probably even be able to sell some to some of the TVR Specialists, as the later aluminium sheilds are expensive.

Tom I'd be interested for my V8S but I guess the market may not be big enough?
I'd have to make you a template as the old ones fell to pieces TVR style when I tried to remove them.

I tried the adhesive backed thermo tec sheet on my Tuscan a while back and it didn't last all that long. I think you might be better off with some of the more rigid stuff held in place with clips or similar.
