Ben Samuelson’s letter to EVO this month…

Got my copy of EVO through the post yesterday and was surprised to see this in the letters section:
I read with interest that Ferrari has come up with the revolutionary idea of putting the engine in the front of their cars behind the front wheels - ie front mid engined you might remember that we at TVR have benn doing it sine 1947 and indeed there weren't many pre-war sporting cars that didn't have that configuration. Just because a press release has a dancing donkey on the top of it doesn't mean you've got to believe it...........

Another letter from a John Foley Evanston, Illinois USA reg TVR back to the US said Peter Wheel has the potential to be the next Enzo Ferrari

Make that 3 and more.
I also thought the same....and also did not bother to reply. It was a crap piece of journo in what is usually a very good mag.
Perhaps my copy will arrive in the post today.

Honda S2000 has the engine WAY behind the front axle too. That gets 50/50 weight distribution as well. Marketing PR spin by Ferrari anyone?

Anyone seen the letter from TVR pinned to the notice board in Adrian Blyths? Its very good

It does appear to have got that way.
