Just had my car in with Raceproved for service, MOT & a few bits to be sorted out.

The whole experience was a pleasure from start to finish.

Initial contact and discussion over the telephone - very open and frank conversation. Came over as very informative and keen to offer a good service.

Car went in on Tuesday. Confirmed all the work that needed to be done. Given a lift to Sheffield train station.

Kept informed of all activity & discussed additonal work identified.

Collected car on Friday afternoon. Picked up from train station. Car had been washed and presented well for collection. Talked through the work completed, including touching up some of the paintwork.

The whole experience was a total pleasure. The journey home was fantastic. The car was very well set up and was suitably impressed.

Jonathan, Russ and the guys are very friendly and are primarily TVR enthusiasts.

A big thankyou and good luck with your business. You definitely have my vote!!!!

I went along today to take a look. Really great bunch. Very enthusiastic, professional etc... And a lovely labrador too!
The workshops look great - really clean and tidy. We had a good chat and I was convinced that they are the garage for me.
I will definitely be using them for my Cerb.

And another satisfied customer here, thumbup for RaceProved from me.

Booked the Cerbera in for a 6K service, but had been experiencing heavy / baulk getting 1st gear sometimes. Russell took the car for a short drive with me, declared there was definetly some clutch drag - eventual diagnosis was unfortunately whoever had replaced the clutch (not tooo long ago by Russell's estimation - pre my ownership) had botched the install and the clutch was fcensoredd and had also scored the flywheel.

Cue replacement clutch, what the hell get the RaceProved lightweight flywheel whilst I'm at it, and while it's up on ramps with the exhaust off and having the clutch out - what else?

They replaced the fuel pipes (Russell stated that this is now a safety critical issue so done as precautionary task), fitted braided brake lines, and they gave the car a very thorough going over, noticing a diff bush that needed replacing and a few other minor tasks.

As I wanted the car back specifically for the weekend, Jonny picked me up from my house (benefit of being a local Sheffielder!!), gave me a lift in on a Saturday specifically opening up to let me get the car, and even helped me wash it!

I found the whole team to be open and friendly, that Russell is very knowledgeable about TVRs (he also owns a 4.2 Cerb like me), that they thoroughly explained all the options before any work commenced, showed me all the bits that came off the car and why they were replaced - all in just the sort of enthusiast driven level of service you would love to get when dealing with your pride and joy.

I had another couple of issues with the car, and Russell went completely out of his way to help me out a moments notice, going well beyond what I would ever expect from a garage - my thanks to him for this - absolutely top levels of service.

An unreserved recommendation from me.

my Chim is there now having Protechs fitted and a service. Great experience so far, contact by phone about items brought up in the service and fitted me in even though they are busy at the moment - will report when I get it back - nice blokes to deal with too - looking good to get all my future business ...

That's right - laser align and corner weighting to go then they'll need to mess you about to fit me in coz I'm having to come by train, and as we know the train system in this country is arse. See you around 10am !

Had the Chimaera in again at Raceproved to have repaired speedo re-fitted (Shame about Speedy Cables - 9 weeks to repair speedo, 1 week to post out speedo. Speedy by name but definitely not by nature!!!!banghead).

On the journey down, the car had a bit of a hair raising rear end twitch on the M1 (I had a rear end twitch afterwards laugh). A quick test run with Pete and up on the ramps established a knackered wheel bearing. They fitted us in and sorted it out.

Dropped off and picked up from railway station, discussed through the work required. Cleaned and well presented on collection. These guys are setting one hell of a high standard!!!clap

Agreed - picked up the Chim today after having Protechs fitted and very impressed. Nice that we have a new place to go that has the RIGHT attitude to customers. They also fitted me in on short notice - picked up a few things on the service and sorted them for me.
I had an unfortunate failure on the way home (not related to these guys) and Russell gave me some great advice over the phone and still offered to come to me and help sort it out even though by then I was 60 miles away. Brilliant.( it was a dodgy connector on the fuel pump by the way - now replaced )
I think I shall be going there from now on...Recommended.

Another one here for Raceproved.
Can't believe my luck, one hell of a great service from a great team, Jonny, Russell, Pete, Ben and Chris and all this on my door step, I could drop the car off and walk home (not that they will let me), they also do paint jobs and are in contact with Joo (formally Trackcar Solutions) so if a rolloing road is reqiured for a reprogram etc then all can be done with one visit.
My Cerb has now done 55,000 miles and has never run as good, top marks guys thumbup

They might be good at a service, you try getting the Tuscan rear window clips off them, I've been trying the best part of a year, not one returned phone call! useless.

Just collected the Cerb yesterday having had the wiper motor replaced, one of the new HT leads replaced as it was arcing out, and new wheel TVR badges fitted (3 had decided to jump ship..... all at once!) - they also took wheels to get rebalanced as I'd developed a vibration.

Again, great service, great attitude, have my 100% recommendation smile

Wheel bearing was around £165 all in.

Part was at cost (was shown the invoice)+ 2 hours labour and VAT.

I can see where you are coming from, but in my experience, good service does not cost more and takes little additional effort to deliver. It is down to how keen a supplier is prepared to offer a point of difference.

Good service = attention to detail = well sorted car = happy customer.

Picking up my Cerb hopefully later today from Raceproved.

They have been great re fitting me in, keep me appraised of progress, giving me suggestions and options re any extra work needed, producing a CD with photos of the chassis (so I can see how good it is !).... They are very polite and professional.
