obvious paint code questions
Discussion
Im sure these questions may be obvious to most of you so please bear with me - any help much appreciated!
Just wanting to get some stone chips sprayed out of the front and side sills of my TVR....I stupidly told the spray shop it'd be easy to get the paint codes for them (from this forum!) but Ive since realised it may not be as easy as I thought!
Is there an obvious way to know what colour paint you have? Is it written or stamped on the chassis anywhere, or in the vehicle documents?
Ive seen the helpful paint code lists on this forum, but I guess you need to know what the "written colour description" is first first? All I know is that my car is blue!
In short - starting from the fact that all I know about my car is that its a "nice metallic blue" colour, how to I get the right paint code?!
thanks

Think it is the last 4 digits on the plate in the bonnet where chassis number is? - Something like that...
