I have just replaced the S02's on my Griff (225/50 ZR16). I tried a few places and got quotes of over £200 per tyre (even though they didn't have any). I finally tried ProTyre (www.protyre.co.uk) who did the pair for £211 fitted and they tell me they have got a warehouse load of S02's. Thought some of you might be interested ... have a good weekend.

Got my last set of SO2's from ProTyre in Enfield. Friendly bunch, good service, nice price!

Did a thorough inspection of my tyres when I thought I had a puncture. Just needed a re-seal, cost me a couple of quid :-)

Call me naive......

"NAIVE"

.....but I have gone ahead and ordered some SO3's (225/50ZR15) to be a tad under £230 for the pair balanced and fitted (Roadwheel, Bagshot). Without spending the difference in petrol, this seemed a reasonable deal.

I paid just under £220 for a pair of Chimaera rear SO3's from Micheldever last November. I find they are always worth a call, they do have a bit of a queue though!
Don't do what the blokein the Porsche did and drive down from London, get in the queue, wait about an hour only to get to the front and be told they were out of stock!! Ring before you leave, then get in the queue and go check again.

And leave a safety margin. I called, confirmed that had two SO2's in stock, drove the 50 miles there and queued, only to discover they could only find one of them on the racks
