Well,

My thanks to Steve and Karen who organised this event
on Saturday.

Also many many thanks to Geoff - for the great cooking.
The food was really excellent and also thanks to his wife and excellent staff who made sure our champagne glasses (Moet) never ran dry.

It was a great event and I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.

The drive home was fun too (after 7 glasses of champagne)... as a passenger

Yep Carol and I enjoyed it too!

I think there were 6 bottles at last count with 12 attending excluding tea totalers and drinks before.

Thought Elaine did pretty well on the way home!

Always best to bring a spare driver.

It was a yummy night and well organised by Steve & Karen, and well cooked by Pubman. Nice food and good company, very enjoyable.

I also have a few pictures of the merry folk that I shall put on the website shortly.

Cheers everyone!. What a top evening. Thank you Alan for the trip out in the mighty wedge. Steve was grinning all evening after that. Well done to Geoff and all the folks at The Royal Oak. That was one of the best meals I've ever had. The company was excellent, truly a memorable night.
Best wishes,
Karen

Delighted to hear you all enjoyed it as much as I did. I've not had a meal out as good as that for a long time. Top marks to Geoff. Hospitality was also first class. Same again next week?

Steve.
