Saw this on HTV Wales but no link. Apparantly a new grit that uses 80% less salt is being trialed. Main goodies to stop iceing is made from molassis? Could be good news for the chassis in the winter?

I just wish they could find another way of laying it on the road rather than chucking it all over my car as they did tonight....
