Calling TVR owners! Need your help - please...

To find me a Tamora Roof - mine went flying on the M20 two weeks ago and now am finding it difficult to get hold of one. The weather is gorgeous and I cant use my car....;(

Ideally looking for a spare 2nd hand one.

I have tried Douglas and the AutoWash Repairs. Jason @ Str8Six on the case via the Multipart route and his other networks.

Possibly a long shot but plasticman (Dave Hills) on here does loads of TVR GRP work - might be worth a try to see if either he knows of any or maybe even make one up for you.

Hi.

Can't help at all, but surely not having a roof in this weather isn't such a big problem? I'd keep using the car and carry an emergency tarp. No roof in winter would be more of a problem.

Didn't you give me ride in your Tam up the Gorge a year or two back? Can't help with the roof but good luck with your search.

Tell me about having the perfect weather to use the car! But my Tam lives on the road and nowhere to keep it safe...somehow my faith in average joe - walking past a covered but open TVR in london, is not good...;(

Zippee - will give him a shout - I think having the mould is going to be the hurdle...

also, there's autowash??? and some guys in northumberland who advertise TVR breakers on fleabay all the time.

a griff roof is about £300 I guess a tam would be more.

Maybe TVR-Power could supply one. If not give Surface&design a shout they are making new ones for Griffs and might be able to help you.

Long shot, but one of the dealers might be prepared to loan you one for a couple of weeks.

tobeee - ulimately, i will have to resort to this - but its gona cost even more if i need a mould made up! - hence my thought of getting a carbon fibre one - via carbon cerbie or ACT or anyone else - tried esserworks too.

S&D had one somewhere in the back of the shed - luckily Andrew managed to track it down, phew!

That's good news! But it's surprising how different your Tamora looks with the red roof!
