I have now found out why TVR dealer's charge that bit more than private sellers.
I always assumed this was due to overheads, etc, etc, but it now seems that you get a free operation with every purchase (this being a sense of humour bypass).
If anyone read a post I put up yesterday regarding BT&P they may have noticed that it disapeared overnight. I posted a message approx. 6.45pm yesterday evening and upon return from pub, approx. 10.45pm, noticed the thread had been closed.
The post read something along the lines of:
I've just seen what looked like the BT&P event advertised on sky, it even had a picture of MUNGO & mystery woman in red dress on it.
All the replies were that it couldn't have been on t.v because the camera crew's weren't there, etc, etc (odd TROLL thrown in for good effect).
The whole subject was refering to the similarities between the PT&P & the current 'Airways' (I think) chewing gum advert.

Look, if we have got the wrong idea about you then we will have no hesitation in apologising for any troll-like comments that may have been made.
If last night, you were referring to a similarity between BTandP and a TV commercial, then for God's sake say so, then we can look out for it and share the joke - your point was only missed by us because it wasn't there.
As for sense of humour... come on... if you had met any one of us you would know that that is the one thing owning a TVR adds to your life... because you can't get the damn grin off your face every time you drive it (see pics of me and passenger on Geminis post about our Sunday run in Yorkshire!)
There are plenty of us in and around West Yorkshire, and 20+ of us are all out on the lash in Leeds on Saturday night... you should try to get to meet us sometime, you'd be surprised
