Anyone see Street Crime UK last night ? Kerb crawling it was – and the first arrestee was in a Griff. I mean, how ugly do you have to be to have a Griff and still have to pay for it. I really don’t know what the world is coming to. Deary, deary me.

Damn stupid thing to be kerb-crawling in if you don't want to attract attention!

Now the real story

He was driving along, and his battery light came on.

Then the car splutters to a halt (Fuse Link), which just happens to be in the wrong part of town.

Poor guy is taken away for kerb crawling

In the words or Gareth Grates "It could happen to anyone of us."

It seems that the best car to do it in is a TVR, cos the copper will believe you when you say you have broken down

Can't see how he was done for kerb-crawling if the car had broken down. I'd say 'Hey officer, if you don't believe me see if you can start it'
