I read it this morning with the radio playing in the back gound. Bob Seagar - Riding aginst the wind, how apropriate.

Standing on the starting grid at Brands last month for a minutes silence brought a tear, this morning another.

Looking forward to the PW memorial race later this month where I can again pay tribute to a very quiet very clever unselfish man.

I smiled at that one too. My German friends always used to call Mercedes drivers "Taxi Drivers" so maybe that's where it came from.

Good write up, it made me smile and realise the man was what TVR stands for and why we are proud to drive and race them.

The man was bigger than life, people who can live with the niggles and character of his cars are the kind of fellow enthusiasts and stubborn eccentric people like he was and made TVR for what it was shortly before he had to find a victim for it. (which in my humble opinion was a PW-masterstroke as well....;-)
