That's it really!

It's only been a couple of weeks, I've got another 7 or 8 weeks to go yet till I get her back!

Oh well, I guess at least I'm avoiding all the sh*tty weather and grit on the roads this year!

Horrible isn't it. When I bought the Chim off Manek last Xmas it was in spotless condition with a fresh respray. After 3 months it was covered in chips again, and most of it was the gritter lorries on the M4.

Well, by the end of Feb she'll be all shiney and chipless again - yaay!!

At the end of last summer I was putting off getting mine fixed. It developed a nasty vibration at speed and a horrible grinding a low speed, was dreading someone telling me it was the diff gone again. So she just sat outside for a few weeks under the cover.

Had another look underneath the car and a bit of a think about the symtoms and it turned out to be a UJ with cost £100 to replace!! I was gutted, I could have had her fixed weeks before and enjoyed the last part of summer in her!! Instead of getting her back in October!

Roll on this summer......

Oh dear I can fully sympathise...

My Trev was off the road for approx 8 weeks from July through to September last year and I don't need reminding that it was the best summer on record since I can remember

However, absence makes the heart grow fonder
