Just noticed this... TVR Sonitus

Only a design concept, but looks good. Not sure an eco TVR has much appeal though. Needs to have a big powerful petrol engine!

Leaving aside the dubious power plant for the time being, it's quite a mis-mash of design elements from the Speed 12 / Cerb / Tuscan / T350 models.

Initially I quite liked it - it is unmistakably TVR (although the scolloped doors are a noticable casualty) but on further inspection there are quite a few things that I would change - something not true of any of the models that it took its design cues from...

I thought TVR Sonitus is what you got by driving your TVR through too many tunnels.

i think it looks stunning - he has managed to capture the TVR DNA but move thigs on a bit - do you think plasticman could build one!!

(That front air intake is just wrong)

Rest of it looks good. 6l V8 under the bonnet & it might be a runner.

Agree, it looks crap.
Why does everything have to look like a bigmouthed Audi now ?
Getting a bit old hat.

It would be better with Cerb type opening, to give it some width.

I think it looks the dogs. Its the kind of thing with an Alfa badge on the front and an italian V8 under the bonnet, peolpe would queue to pay over 100K for.

Agreed, perhaps a few tweaks, but stunning.

Looks rather like a melted T440R / Typhon with elements of original Speed12 and a bit ot T350 / Sagaris thrown in for good measure.

A gestalt of previous TVRs rather than anything particularly new, but then it does capture the essential DNA which is what I think the designer was seeking to do so he succeeded there.
