Cable Hanging down in footwell of Chimaera

I recently had my Chimaera in for repairs (new clutch and throttle cable). Firstly, the clutch is still very light, with almost not biting point 'feelable' through the pedal, and it's also difficult to put in gear. Is this normal?

Second, the car is juddering at idle and low speeds, is this the stepper motor? It did this before the repairs were done.

Thirdly, there is a cable hanging down in the passenger footwell. It looks a bit like a small connection jack that you would find on headphones, only it's completely smooth, rather than ridged like a 1/4 inch connection jack. Anybody know what this is? The speakers all seem fine, before anybody suggests that!

does car launch ok? some of the clutches on chims are very light, juddering could be stepper careful when you undo plastic nut is fairly soft, make sure you unclip wiring and pull well back, also clean interior thread on stepper body(back of toothbrush with cloth and twist).Judder could also be a damaged plug extender. Check inside all of them and tighten screw top on plugs.
The cable isnt aux inlet socket for stereo is it? Just changed dash on mine to shiny new stainless one (thanks to Andy at TVR power for finding one in his cupboard) and there are lots of spare leads, plugs,connectors etc so your cable may not be needed at all.

I have one of those cables it's the connector for the Accumate to trickle charge the battery.

Worth checking the fluid level in the clutch reservoir, located inside the drivers wing under an access panel.
