The 'S' handbook for my car has the section at the front for all numbers, colour reference etc blank and I want to fill this in.

I can obviously manage chassis/engine number, etc, but am still left with some gaps.

Can I get details of my car from the factory to enable me to do this? If so, anyone got a useful contact?

Just call the main factory number (01253 509 000) and they'll sort you out.

When I asked for details they wanted something like £15 for them though...

recently called the factory for all this info. £35 but included a "full chassis check" including them looking into whether it's been crashed, when it's been serviced etc etc... bit like an HPI check, but include all the original spec as ordered etc as well.....

Cheers guys. I'll give them a ring.

Don't need full check (HPI type thing) as this was recently done when I purchased the car.

You will need to give the chassis number and the orignal reg (if its on a private plate)

It might take a few days as the archives are chocablock with records going back to the very early 80's (I know...it was my holiday job filing them all).
