Well, just been out in my Cerb for a bit of a run and whilst joining the A3 (from the slip road) I may have been going slightly over the NSL (possibly!). Anyway left at the next junction and next to me a marked car beeped his horn, so I would down the window to which he said ' If you are going to go over the NSL then check what is next to you!'. So I made my apologies and they gave a friendly wave and that was that........

Anyway, reckon the car may well have had something to do with it!

any ive met have been the usual bds.
i got stopped a few months ago and fined with 3 points,when there was other cars ahead of me going faster.as usual,he was a right cheeky bd,so i didnt try to be nice in return.
IMO,you,ve been lucky and got the 1% stop you

I think its a bit more than 1%, I've got away with it myself. I was advised by an officer of the law once that, they're human.

So, if the officer in question is woken in the morning by the kids, cold shower cause its broken, argument with 'her in doors and the dogs taken a dump in his coffee, you might not be greeted by the happiest of coppers if you infringe the law. On the otherhand, if he got a full cooked breakfast, a BJ without prompting and a letter to say the mother-in-laws just kealed over, then you'd probably get away with bank robbery!

A mate and I in Tamora and Tuscan coming back from Pembrey on the M4 didn't realise there was an unmarked Volvo behind us when I floored it and he followed (3 lanes, long straight, clear of traffic). We were around 150 leptons when he flashed his lights. We were both offered the choice of a ticket for doing 99mph = 3 points and 90pounds fine, or if we wanted to object 'see you in court'. All done very courteously and I thought a generous offer (which was gratefully accepted).
