An S3 no roof 5degreesC and dark

Spotted last night, an S3 no roof 5degreesC, dark and a bit drizzly at 7pm in Headingley, you must be as mad as a badger.

I had my heater on and still thought it was a bit chilly perhaps I should get a jumper or something.

I assume it had to be psychobert.....

see, us with the more basic cars don't have outside temperature monitors, so if it's not actually peeing down, we just assume it must be OK to go topless

I've always assumed the two lights in my wife's Mondeo were encouraging me to take the roof of the Tiv

When Psychobert stayed down mine on xmas eve I asked if he was going to put the roof on the car for the night.

Yup, t'was me..

Nothing beats having a topless blast on my way home after a day in the office. Just helps me unwind and forget about it all. Its better when the sky is clear and the stars are out, but if its not actually raining then its still ok.. Just need a decent pair of gloves and a fleece.

And a scarf. and a hat, and maybe a fleece rug over your knees.. And never leave the keys to your house in the boot of an S when its liable to freeze as the boot has a habit of jamming.

Managed to miss 2 phone calls this morning while working from home as my stereo is somewhat louder than the phone. Oh well, probably only the boss..

I NEVER EVER hear the phone in the car - I had Binary Finary belting out at 7am this morning... sure wakes you up for the start of the day...

have also come across a great little summer track that must have been around a lot but I seem to have missed it completely, UD Project: Summer Jam... don't know why, but it's just one of those great feel good tracks, I replayed it 8 times on the bounce

edited to add that I also have some Faithless, Chemical Bros, Groove Armada and Morcheeba in the car so it's not all boom boom boom

after reading this thread I went stright out to my car and had a good look in the boot ---- there it was a roof panel !! after three years of getting wet and the car full of snow! I think I prefer it without though .
