Only experience of the old version installed it Jan'08
The runway with the hydraulic ram is very heavy..I'd suggest 3 people minimum (although I know one guy did it with the help of his wife!!!).
The instructions are quite good, but the locking mechanism can be a pain to get correct. Also try and get the posts 90degree vertical otherwise the locks can run out of the guides. Also measure the diagonals as per instructions.
If the locking release lever is still the same, make sure you leave 2-3 feet between your back wall and the back posts otherwise it won't fit (or you have to bend it).
Also always watch the car coming down, once the front locks didn't come out but the rears did, I was distracted and I brought it down ... scared the life out of me...I had blocked all 4 wheels, so at the least the car didn't move.

Same goes, also have the older version, would say its better/safer to use something like an engine hoist when tackling the HEAVY one. Its very important to make sure the cables are set to an equal length to the top of each post for an even/level lift, if not you run the risk of one of locking plates not engaging/disengaging fully during operation.

1. Your not wrong you need 4 people and a high lift pallet truck and some machine skates
2. I did not measure the diags and wish i did as the lock release were a pain and still are not right.
3. The instructions lack bit of detail could be larger and provide more information.
4. No wiring diagram provided, this is lacking as its a must !! whilst they are in the EU it is not accepatable to provide a control box with bo diagram. That said it is well made !
5. More information on the pulley routes would have been nice
6. Yep watch the car on the way down as I did have kittens when on release lock didnt come out.
just done some improvements to the locking arms, I have fitted a stronger spring to ensure they always come up to lock when the solenoids de energise. The orignal springs are not very strong, also machined new lock stops as the orignals dont look like they have been milled thus the edges were not square.
