Having looked at TVR powers parts website they list a fuel cooler for chimaera, anyone fitted one of these ?? any benefits ?

I've had a fuel cooler fitted to my Wedge for the past 10 years. It was done by a previous owner who used the car a lot in Spain, so I guess he was encountering vapourisation problems due to heat soak. I can't give a before and after comparison, as it's always been there, but I personally wouldn't bother with one in the UK.

I think you're referring to the heat exchanger between the fuel rail return line and air con refrigerant circuit on the 'aircon' versions. Some cars had a different scheme with the fuel passing through a conventional oil cooler matrix and this doesn't rely on the aircon.
