For those of you, who like me, have had to keep their TVR outside using a complete car cover.This product seems very good at removing those tiny scratches and maring (sp) that these covers bring.

It seems to be just about the right level of abrasiveness to make light work,well relatively, without having to use a machine.

Just thought i'd let you know

Hey pies,like yourself i keep mine outside under a cover and i've just noticed it's causing cloudy marks on the paint.It's only on the front wings and rear quarters,i guess where it has most contact.
I was wondering if anyone else has had trouble like this.I was going to try and restore it this weekend but ended up playing instead.

I haven't had any cloudy marks but I do have a bad case of "micro-blistering" (not osmosis) on the rear wing. Anyway it's getting repaired at Ewelme coachworks.

Personally a full car cover causes more damage to the car (in my case). I think the leven half hood is the best choice.

Must agree my full cover is of now and wont go back on unless the phesants decide to use if for a roost again

I've stopped using the waterproof cover for the same reason...

From the picture in your profile, your car looks pretty good.
While on the subject of polishing, what cloth do you recommend for applying polish. I ask this because no matter how careful I am I still seem to be adding swirl marks! I'm currently using some blue cloths I bought from www.demomedia.co.uk/sp/
When I bought my car it came with an outdoor cover, I've been using it in my garage to keep the dust off but it seems to make it "sweat" so I've stopped. I was thinking of getting one of the soft indoor covers - Are you aware of any problems with them?

To stop swirl marks work in straight lines

Cloths i use are Zymol ones pricey but good,and some from homebase comes in lots of pretty colours both are microfibre

PIES - if you're talking about the paint renovator, with the pink label - beware! It is a very good product, but it is a very powerful cutting compound - stronger than T-CUT. If you rub hard, you will get through to the primer! Always try the Super Resin first - this has a small amount of "cut" in it and will remove most minor marks with a bit of elbow grease.
I've not tried the Zymol cloths, but the shampoo and wax really is the best. Pricey though.
