Sky blue Tuscan was seen this afternoon in Adel turning off the Otley Road (A660) into the car park of the local off-license. Any takers?

I was pootling past in the other direction in a meer Mk2 Astra (poor student you see!) - don't exactly expect you to remember it. Brightened up my day though.

<blatent plug mode> Gorgeous cars, I'd love a ride! </blatent plug mode>

Assuming you're not an axe-murder or a lunatic I'm sure I can sort out a passenger ride for you. I'm not sure you'd get the best out of it at this time of year, it's a bit too wet to give it 'big licks'!

Are you at Boddington Hall?

Yeah - Boddington is my glorious home for the year, the less said the better!
I promise there's no record of murders to date either.....

I'd like to try and get involved in the S.Yorks meets but (despite having lurked for ages) I haven't posted regularly and I'm not sure the car'd be exactly welcome....... But either way all passenger rides gratefully accepted and I'm sure I'd be impressed by any kind of Speed Six supplied 'licks', big or otherwise!

I'm sure you'd be welcome at any of the meets. A run-out may be a bit of a challenge but who cares if you get there a second or two later than the rest of us! Keep any eye on the 'events' page, something will appear soon.

I'm surprised you haven't seen Psychobert in his S, he works in shouting distance of you.

I'm sure I could manage a blast along the Ring Road in the near future. Need to get my speedo fixed first though, currently I have no idea what speed I'm doing!

Saw a red Chimp the other day in Headingly but no S to date, will keep my eyes pealed for that and any events that are planned.
As for rides - If you are feeling generous one day just whack a post on here or mail me and I shall make every effort to accept

On a different note, are you or any other S.Yorks Piston Headers are involved with Leeds IAM? I intend to start their course ASAP so just wondering!

I can't help you with your IAM question. Are you aware that there's a North Yorks , West Yorks and South Yorks TVRCC? Have a look on the TVRCC website, you'll find details of their websites/meet details. As I said before, the meets are for enthusiasts as well as owners.

Just do what the rest of us do Jo, only look at the rev counter, when it reaches the red area, change up... when it reaches the red area in top, ease off just a tad

You'd be most welcome to attend any meets!! It matters not if you pilot a bicycle or a Bentley

I go through Headingley every weekend on my merry way to the airport tunnels to blast away the week's stress and woe. Will pick you up and go for a blast if you want. Saw the signs for Boddington Hall by chance on Saturday afternoon too! Is it up near the crematorium

Be prepared for Chim Girl's RR Tuscan - its very fast

BTW what are you studying?

Oh yeah, it's the 'getting started' bit you find tricky isn't it.

Thanks Mod I think your chipped 500 could put mine through its paces!

Trouble is, I'm having to guess how quickly I'm going by looking at how quickly the cars behind me disappear in my rear view mirror! That said, I think I can officially be accused of pootling along the A660 recently. It may be worth letting you know that Mr quite often appears in his video van along that particular stretch. Go carefully, it's only a 40, even though it should be a 60 IMHO.

Whats the craic with getting it fixed? Do you get an exchange unit or do they repair yours? I have a road angel which displays the vehicle's true speed, if your speedo is going to be ages in getting fixed you are welcome to borrow it.
