Racing Green on Sunday
Discussion
Good day out.
Did anyone go up stairs and see the Jag XK13?
(or was it XJ13?)
Amazing car.
Oh, of course you went up stairs, thats where the important stuff was, bacon butties and coffee!
Anyway, apparently the Jag is the only Aluminium replica in the world. There is only one genuine car and Jag were offered £5Million for it and turned it down. Makes the £60K replica seem like a bargin.
A beautiful beautiful car. Just looking at it made it look like it was the fastest loudest car ever.
The Sagaris was alright too!
Didnt go much on the Typhon back seats though but they I guess these will be changing since they didnt even have seat belts.
Nice to meet those of you I met too!

ha ha!
I must have recognised more PHers cars than the actual people!
(But then I would seeing that people put there cars in their profiles and not their ugly mugs!)
Name badges would be a good idea but also a tad sad!
My car was probably the easiest to spot in the car park. It was the (dirty) Green VW golf parked directly opposite the showroom entrance.
At least I was unique for once!

It was worth me visiting Racing Green though.

Good luck with the TVR purchase...
"Would the owner of the NON TVR please move his car away from the premises please"
That would have got my attetnion!
What I really want is the Jag XK13 (or XJ13) that was on the top floor.
That is the best looking car I have ever ever seen.
BTW: I was the one;
- taking lots of pics of the said Jag.
- Taking a pic of the inside of the drivers head vent in the Sagaris (just for Ed)
- Looking over a certain Tiv for a while with a very helpful salesman
- looking like ming the merciless (or claypole!) and with a blonde girlfriend who was more interested in playing with the small dog that was walking around the showroom.
Whose was that dog? He seemed to know his way around!

The little Jack Russell is apparently the Racing Green office dog! And Dusty, as for dirty Golf's, mine was the dirty silver Golf parked beside you, with my own PistonHound, Copper, in the back! I had originally parked outside the gates, so as not to ruin the TVR parking format, but my PH pals assured me the Golf would be welcome 'inside'! The name tag idea would have worked, as the place was filled with PHers all wondering who was who. Maybe next time??!!
Ha ha! We noticed another PHer then, Copper!!!!
Actually my girlfriend noticed his collor straight away(she goes mad on dogs).
I was annoyed to see your golf there, I wanted to be unique!
At least at the next meet I'll know who you are, as long as you bring Copper!
That little dog (The Racing green Mascot) was a funny little thing. Kept shaking a lot.
Perhaps that was just due to the vibrations of 100 TVRs outside though!

We'd be happy to supply name badges if that would help. You'd have to let us know you were coming in advance so that we could prepare! Maybe we could just do them for Phers - let us know.
Bob, the Jack Russel, is a game 15 year old granny, named after Bob from Black Adder. Don't underestimate her - she will take out a bunny or a rat faster than you can turn the key in your TVR. She usually runs the credit control department. Saturday was her day off.
