Goodbye Sagaris Hellllloooooo Typhon.

Well we turned up on Satuday, to take a look just like the rest of you and I had permission to put a deposit down from the Procurement & Entertainment Department.

What happens when we walk through the door? P&E Dept. take one look at the Typhon and declares "That's the one I want". To be fair, me too. That is one fantastic car.

The Sagaris is OK, from the pictures and Teds short video I was in love, in the GRP - it's still very, very nice, but didn't quite get me drooling. The badges in the back spoil it a little, the rear perspex thing I thought would look better and it was too cramped inside, I had to dip my head down to see out of the side window.

The Typhon however kind of changes the plans though, need to save a few more coppers I think!

If anyone has any pics of the Typhon, could they send them to me through my profile - pretty please?

That rear spoiler did ruin the Sagaris.
Looked like an after thought and a bit too much like a max power/Halfords bolt on.
Res to f the car was great though. I especially liked the cut away backs of the front wheel arches, something I hadnt noticed before.

Talking of the cut aways....

How often will you need to have the front wing and doors resprayed..?? All the Cr@p flicked from the front tyres will make a real mess of the paintwork IMHO...

I too drooled all over the Typhon. First time I'd seen one (or a T400,T440) so was glad to say it was stunning. The interior was a work of art, and the driving position just felt so right.

The Sagaris was not really my cup of tea. The Typhon however

You are very lucky. Can't wait to see EVO do a proper test.

My wife thought it looked like a Lego car!

I was thinking about the whole style of the Sagaris last night, there is more than a passing resemblance to the old racing Speed12 (apart from size), vents on wings, bonnet flaps etc.

Actually .Mark if you were at Racing Greens open day last year, and you saw the gold speed six then you've seen it before!
According to the TVR finance guy that was only there on Saturday.
IT IS the same car. It's just had a coat of paint, the sequential gearbox and the turbo fitted. According to him it was also minus a transmission on Saturday.

Think I got an mpg of the speed six sound track from last year that EdT took, I'll see if I can find it and mail it to you!

Got to agree, not that I've got the money for either at the moment . Thought I'd like the Sagaris but no, actually prefer the cleaner lines of the T350C. More shock , really liked the Typhon, oh so much money but if I had it, I would buy one tomorrow . A stunning machine IMHO, can't wait to see some road tests on it .

I thought the big led encursted nodular nob they've stuck on the back of the Sagaris did it no favours whatsoever. A massive leap backwards in numberplate illumination. imho, of course.

If the Typhon was available with a Targa roof like my Tuscan S then I would be very, very interested! I'm not sure about the Sagaris for me. Good looking car, it has grown on me, but I think it's more of a track day special than a genuine sports car :quicklyhides behindsteeldesk:
