engine out/in

how much does anyone reckon for a engine+gearbox out and then refit engine/gearbox would cost ?

for a griff rv8 ?

Depends who does it and what labout rates are etc.
I'd guess somewhere in the £600 - £800 ballpark wouldn't be too far off the mark.

RTracing had my 400SE engine and box out (to fit clutch) about 15 months ago,
and bill was £1350, but that included one or two other things like new speedo cable, oil change and a fuel pipe...as well as the clutch, so I'd go with about 6-800 pounds inc. VAT.
