ideal start for someone who wants to build a car. all of the suspension bits can be bought from john reid, just add the engine of your choice...

I'd be tempted myself, but i think i've already got too many TVR racers !!!!

Seems cheap! For the cost of a few bits of running gear, maybe 10ks worth, you could have a seriously quick car.

That chassis doesn't look straight...???

I'd consider a partnership if anyone in the North is interested?

lol if your really interested I can tell you just about exactly what it costs to go from a bare chassis, to a chassis with 4 wheels on it hehe never mind the running gear on top

Its a cracking opportunity, but its going to cost you more than 10k to finish it

I'm thinking in the region of 30-40k. To be done 'right' anyway.

quite a lot depends on engine and transmission,

but to put a rolling chassis together

chassis
front/rear uprights
front/rear wishbones
rose joints
bolts
hubs
disks
calipers
rose joint spacers
rose joint adjusters
drive flanges
steering rack
dampers
diff
diff mounts
wheels

and all the bits that go with that to get as far as bolting the wheels on i've spent 10-15k

and i got a good deal on a spare chassis.. and the above doesnt include the body ( sag in my case)

There is still a fair amount to add to that, i've spent about 6k on a gearbox!! and im going to borrow the engine from the tuscan but im still looking at over 30k..

If you have an engine, use a t5 box and find 2nd hand parts you might be able to put one together for 20k but it would be a struggle.

The body chassis on flea bay does represent good value though, you could easily pay double what its up for at the moment. for a new body and chassis.

It probably is right, it just looked odd in the pic. Probably just perspective.
